Folding, 2015 is a study of the textural aesthetics of a building whilst in the transient phase of construction.
Nicholas Wilkins is a Melbourne based artist and photographer. His practice concerns ideas surrounding architecture and the urban landscape, abstraction in the everyday and photography’s tentative link with reality. He is interested in documenting everyday spaces and his immediate surrounds. His imagery drifts between the real and the surreal, the figurative and the abstract, forging a poetic space in which we are offered alternative ways of seeing.
