BY GABRIEL COLE AND LUCAS CROALL
10th March – 22nd March
Opening Night: Friday 10th March, 6pm-8pm
Nu Camo explores the concept of camouflage as a bridge into the natural world; traditionally used as a form of disguise, in this case serving aesthetic purposes. In this way they are exploring a relationship between art and nature; camouflage as an art form. Using the patterns found in wood (nature) as a basis, and the application of paint (abstraction), a visual style is born out of a wild phenomenon.
